The Project Manager is an integral addition to Divelement’s mighty team; they are the bridge between Delivery and Operations. The Project Manager is adept in various delivery methodologies and functions, they will take ownership of the client’s vision and work cross-functionally with the Engineering team to bring that to fruition. They will support our efforts in developing the Project Management best practices, participate in continuous development, and share an interest in igniting a passion for self-accountability and maintaining Divelement’s status as one of the best places to work.

You are an enthusiastic and motivated Project Management Superstar! You enjoy creating ideas that come to life for clients and coordinating cross-functionally across teams.  You embed yourself into the client's product roadmap and are an expert at identifying opportunities, risks, and solutions.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Structure and generate ticket requirements for the Developers in the ticketing software for various projects.
  • Educate the team on project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
  • Help to design resource requirements and manage resource availability & allocation – both internal and third-party.
  • Participate in designing SOW's and Discovery documents that outline a budget based on requirements.
  • Prepare a detailed project plan and schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
  • Track projects and provide regular reports on project status to the project team and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule, and/or budget.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Facilitate Project Management (Scrum) Ceremonies in project
  • Manage the delivery, relationship, and communication with the client, Divelement, and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Business proficiency in English (C1-C2)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Project Management in different industries
  • 2+ years of Software Development Project Management experience
  • Developing leadership skills: A good Project Manager should be able to lead and motivate the project team, set clear goals, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills: A good Project Manager should be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors. This includes being able to listen actively, speak clearly and concisely, and write effective reports and emails.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies: A good Project Manager should have a deep understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid, and be able to choose and implement the right methodology for the project at hand.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: A good Project Manager should be able to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to manage risk: A good Project Manager should be able to identify and mitigate risks associated with the project, both proactively and reactively.
  • Strong organizational skills: A good Project Manager should be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, create and maintain project plans and schedules, and ensure that all team members are working towards the same goals.
  • Experience in the industry: A good Project Manager should have experience in the industry in which the project is being executed, as well as a deep understanding of the project's objectives and requirements.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: A good Project Manager should be able to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust project plans and schedules as necessary.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills: A good Project Manager should be able to manage the expectations of all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Emotional intelligence: A good Project Manager should be able to understand and manage their own emotions, as well as those of team members and stakeholders, to promote positive team dynamics and project outcomes.
