As a QA Engineer Consultant, you will join Divelement for a 3 month contract where you will create structure, sustainable best practices, and workflows for a QA team. You’ll play a crucial role in the Delivery experience, ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the development lifecycle. Your expertise will help drive projects from initial planning to final delivery by creating robust testing strategies and guaranteeing flawless execution.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Lead a small group of QA Engineers in Staff Augmented and Consultancy projects
  • Develop and implement repeatable and comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases specific to software applications to ensure the highest quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA Engineers, Developers, Designers, and Project Managers, to improve software quality and usability
  • Train the QA members on how to conduct exploratory testing to validate new features and functionality and identify potential issues
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using testing tools
  • Train QA members and support adoption of QA performance metrics 
  • Establish and enhance QA processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices, and ensuring optimal integration with the project's existing software implementation and CI/CD activities
  • Oversee and mentor other QA contributors within Divelement
  • Review QA tool stack and advise on tools and services that will enhance the QA operations
  • Report on QA member performance and process adoption through data-backed metrics


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Manual Testing
  • Automation Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Understand the basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node js.
    • C, C++, Python, Java (Plus but not Required)
  • Expert in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Workable knowledge in Playwright and Cypress
  • Experience in QA Testing tools like Qase and Wrike

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, compliance, and developments

We base our compensation on the following factors: location, experience, exposure, & skills. Divelement offers a remote-first work environment where autonomy and accountability go hand-in-hand.
